ITINERARY
Day 1
Arrival at Lisbon Portela Airport. Transfer to accommodation for group meeting.
Day 2
Atlantic Trails
Our ride commences with stunning ocean views from cliff-top trails, passing through traditional villages and spectacular scenery, ending the day with a well-deserved picnic lunch.
Day 3
Woodland Wonders
We start the day in the picturesque village of Colares and follow the ancient trails over the mountain up to the Capuchos Convent for a picnic lunch.
Day 4
Free Day
A day to visit the area, sit around the pool or to lie on one of the beaches.
Day 5
Discovery Trail
The starting point for this ride is the beach of Praia Grande. We follow cliff-top trails south to Cabo da Roca (the westernmost point in Continental Europe). Continuing south we follow a single track all the way down to Guincho surf beach. Moving on back to the mountain, we arrive at a beautiful blue lagoon for a picnic lunch.
Day 6
Rolling Hills
We will find ourselves riding through picturesque rolling hills to the town of Mafra, where the vast convent/palace can be seen. Leaving Mafra we ride through fertile valleys and finish the day with a picnic lunch.
Day 7
Democracy Day
The group will decide amongst themselves which ride they wish to take on the last day.
Day 8
Departure - transfer from Hotel to Lisbon Portela Airport.
Please note that all holidays begin and end on a Sunday.
All rides are between 30-70 kms. We reserve the right to modify the itinerary according to group ability.
